Throughout my four years as a trustee, I have been an active volunteer in our schools. I have been a contributing member of the Partnering Aldershot Committee, Partnering Youth Aldershot Committee, Bolus Gardens Parkette Project, and on the board of The Centre for Skills Development and Training. While in these roles, I helped parents and guardians navigate the board and advocated for enhanced academics and student well-being, to ultimately produce
solutions in relation to fair funding and school closures. Furthermore, I have advocated to other levels of government to build links between public health, school council chairs, municipal councillors, and other trustees. In these positions, I have learned the importance and power of collaboration and have been inspired to work with the community to do more.
